DAG has launched Open Screens which is ideal for small design studios to explore the Screens benchmarking platform. By signing up you can access all the vehicles in the database with a limited video viewing time per day. Sign up here.

Unrestricted access packages are also available for full access and unlimited video viewing times. Contact Screens for more information.

Developed by Deutsche Automotive, Screens is an interactive video based online software that allows the user to click through a vehicle’s HMI directly from their desk. Complimenting Deutsche Automotive’s expert HMI benchmarking services, Screens allows interaction designers to benchmark their own HMI against market leading vehicles through a single online platform.

    Screens unlocks user experience

    2019-10-21T13:38:00Sponsored by

Screens is a new service from Deutsche Automotive that is designed to help user-experience teams understand their competitors’ systems at a deeper level. Rather than benchmarking the physical characteristics of in-car systems, Screens uses a consistent heuristic walkthrough of a cars’ interface—with clear explanations of how different functions work and how many clicks/touches it takes to get there—to build a true experiential benchmark.
